It was originally the octopus-themed artwork that I came across of Irina Vinnik’s that caught my eye, but it didn’t take long before I was completely captivated by her unique designs and ingenious style. This artist, designer, photographer, and illustrator works from St. Petersburg, Russia and keeps art enthusiasts around the world enthralled.

Irina’s work combines so many elements: abstract shapes, typography, nature, fantasy, and often a biomechanical feel. Her pens and brushes can dance between bold, black lines to whimsical soft strokes. I’m always excited to see what new pieces she posts and find such inspiration in her designs and vision.

Vinnick recently released a children’s book entitled, “World of Dolls,” and also has a sketchbook and numerous illustrations available here. To keep up with her fascinating blog, be sure to bookmark this  page.
